Azad Jammu and Kashmir AJK Environment Protection Agency invite applications for following posts on contract basis for its project Automation of EPA through multiple initiatives.

1. Lab Analyst Chemical (Emissions Analysis/Water Analysis) (Lump Sum Pay for each Rs. 150,000)

  • Headquarter Muzaffarabad, Open Merit Selection Criteria:
  • Age Limit: Up to 18-40 years.
  • Education: M.Sc. Chemistry (preferably Analytical/ Emission Analysis/ Water Analysis) ‘OR’ Environmental Sciences at least 2nd Division
  • Nature of Job: • Air Quality Monitoring with the help of Ambient Air Quality Monitoring Station (AQMS) – (Vehicle Mounted) comprises of Analyzers like; – SO2, NOx, CO & Ozone (Horiba Japan) – Weather Station – Data retrieves and reports generation – – BAM 1020 for Particulate Matter (PM) 2.5 & 10 micron – Stake Emission Analyzer – Data acquisition Software ENVIDAS (VETS)
  • Vehicular Emission Testing through Vehicular Testing System (Vehicle Mounted) comprises of – Opacity Meter and – Gas Analyzer (Horiba Japan)
  • Operation of High-Volume Samplers (TSP, PM 2.5 & 10) AND ‘POR’
  • Handling & Operation Water Analysis Labs (Surface, Inland, and Wastewater.) comprises of – Atomic Absorption Spectrometer – Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometer – Biological Oxygen Demand (BOO) Apparatus – Bacterial Account Analysis Lab – VIS/UV-VIS Spectrometer – Laminar Downflow BenchSWlsw

2. Lab Assistant (BPS-11)

  • Head Office MZD, Open Merit Selection Criteria:
  • Age Limit: Up to 18-40 year
  • Education: B.Sc. in discipline with Chemistry as a Major

3. Driver (BPS-05)

  • Head Office MZD, Open Merit (i) Selection Criteria: Middle Pass. iv) Experience: Having an LTV/HTV License with experience. ii) Age Limit: Up to 18-40 years.
