SITUATION VACANT

Application are invited from suitable candidates to fill the following vacant posts under a developmental Project for a project period under prevailing Project Policy

1 Dy Coordinator (Livestock) (BPS-18)

1. M. Phil/MSc (Hons) in any discipline of Animal Sciences or Animal Husbandry after the basic degree of DVM, registered with PVMC.
2. Profound applied knowledge with at least five years experience in livestock value chain analysis and promotion;
3. Excellent advisory skills and willingness to cooperate.
4. Technical expertise in the fields of livestock Value chain promotion, handling, storage, packing, and processing;
5. Knowledge of national and international marketing of livestock products;
6. Experience in the design and implementation of training oriented towards the needs of specific target groups, development of curricula, materials and methods;
7. Ability to adapt to hard working conditions;
8. Knowledge of local language will be an asset.
9. Max age limit is 45 years.
10. Responsibilities:
11. To supervise all activities related to livestock and further communicate it to the office of Project Director and stakeholders.

2 Dy Coordinator (Marketing) (BPS-18)

1. MS in Business Administration (Marketing)/M.Sc (Hons) Agriculture Economics.
2. Profound applied knowledge of at least five years of project experience in value chain analysis and promotion;
3. Excellent advisory skills and willingness to cooperate;
4. Applied knowledge about food safety and quality management systems (e. g. HACCP ) with a focus on the private sector and preferably the selected value chains of the area;
5. Ability to adapt to hard working conditions;
6. Max. age limit is 45 years.
7. Responsibilities
8. Responsibility for the achievement of results in the On-farm storage and marketing of the relevant agricultural products;
9. Introduction of systematic improvements for food safety and food quality in the value chains/sectors;
10. Capacity development of the relevant public institutions and private service providers as well as awareness-raising in the private sector on food safety (legislation and international standards), like HACCP, etc.
11. Advise public and private program partners for quality certification.

3 Supply Chain Coordinator Manager

• MS in Supply Chain Management.
• At least five years of project experience in relevant field
• Max. age limit is 45 years.
• Responsibilities:
• To manage the buying and delivery process of goods or services.
• To negotiate rates with carriers ensuring that you the best possible rates in line with Gov t’s buying policy.
• To coordinate all inbound and outbound traffic, maximizing cost-effectiveness and tracking all consignments.
• Any other responsibility assigned by the higher authority.

4 Assistant Coordinator

• B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture (Horticulture/Food Science & Technology /DVM (registered with PVMC).
• Experience in the relevant field will be an added advantage.
• Max. age limit is 35 years.
• Responsibilities:
• To manage the buying and delivery process of goods or services.
• To negotiate rates with carriers ensuring that you the best possible rates in line with the Govt.’s buying a policy.
• To coordinate all inbound and outbound traffic, maximizing cost-effectiveness and tracking all consignments.
• Any other responsibility assigned by the higher authority.

5 Assistant Coordinator of Marketing

• MBA/BBA (Hons) with a specialization in marketing/B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture Economics.
• Experience in the relevant field will be an added advantage.
• Max. age limit is 35 years.
• Responsibilities:
• To manage the buying and delivery process of goods or services.
• To negotiate rates with carriers ensuring that you the best possible rates in line with the Govt.’s buying a policy.
• To coordinate all inbound and outbound traffic, maximizing cost-effectiveness and tracking all consignments.
• Any other responsibility assigned by the higher authority.

6 Monitoring Officer

• B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture/DVM (registered with PVMC).
• Experience of Monitoring & Evaluation will be an added advantage.
• Max. age limit is 35 years
• Responsibilities:
• Preparing plans for M&E activities
• Monitoring and follow up of all project activities
• To prepare reply of queries
• observations of M&E Directorate of P&D Department

7 Office Account Assistant

• BA/B.Sc/BBA.
• Max. age limit is 30 years
• Responsibilities:
• Dealing with accounts matters
• Keeping office record
• Management of files and correspondence etc

8 Driver

• Responsibilities: Driving

9 Naib Qasid

• Literate will be given preference.

How to Apply

• All the positions are temporary/project-based initially for a period of one year extendable on yearly basis till completion of the project subject to the satisfactory performance (as per prevailing project policy).
• The applicant should be a permanent resident of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
• The applications on the prescribed format (given below) along with updated CV, attested copy of CNIC, degrees/certificates, all the transcripts, experience certificates (if any), and three passport size photographs should reach on the following address within 15 days after advertisement in the newspaper.
