Assistant Professor (BPS-19) (Rs.59.210-3.050- 120210)

Qualification: Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology (including 3 years of supervised internship) under Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist only.

Experience: 4 years of teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University plus 2 years of clinical experience of the field concerned in a national or international organization.

How to Apply

  • Application forms are available in the office of the Director, Institute of Clinical Psychology, the University of Karachi against payment of Rs.500/- in the shape of Pay Order/Bank Draft in favor of “Institute of Clinical Psychology, University of Karachi”. The candidates will also need to submit Rs.1500/- Pay Order/Bank Draft in favor of “Institute of Clinical Psychology, the University of Karachi” with the submission of documents towards the processing of applications.
  • Six copies of applications on prescribed forms should be accompanied with attested copies of educational certificates, experience certificates. National Identity Card, attested copies of recent photographs, and reprints/photocopies of publications. Acceptance letters for publication of a paper and provisional certificate of any examination passed will not be considered.
  • Persons already in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies should apply through proper channel.
  • The applicant has not been involved in in-disciplinary behavior in any of the previous jobs.
  • The appointees will be required to carry out all work/duties assigned to them from time to time by the management of the Institute.
  • The interviews will be held at the “Institute of Clinical Psychology, the University of Karachi” for which T.A./D.A. will not be admissible.
  • Incomplete applications will not be considered.
  • The Institute has the right to reject any application
