SITUATION VACANT

Applications are invited for the following post of Assistant Professor Community Ophthalmology (BPS-18) on a regular basis a Pakistan Institute of Ophthalmology (PICO). Hayatabad Medical Complex Peshawar. The candidate must have a domicile of Khyber Paklutinkliwa with the following terms & conditions.

Assistant Professor Community Ophthalmology (BPS-18)

(Male/ Female) Age 27-45

MBBS or Equivalent Medical Qualification recognized by the PMDC. b) FCPS , Ph.D / M. Phil / MPH / M.Sc in the relevant field c). FCPS / FRCS Oplithalmology MS / DO in Ophthalmology. d). Experience: Two years of teaching experience as lecturer/demonstrator or at the equivalent position.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

  1. The candidates shall apply for the post on prescribed proforma available on website www.pico.org.pk
  2. Candidates must deposit the fee of Rs. 1000/- through the prescribed fee slip available on PICO website www.pico.org.pk
  3. Applications should reach the office of the undersigned by hand before 31st August. 2020 with complete bio-data and academic / experience/domicile certificates along with 02 recent photographs and CNIC photocopies attested.
  4. The Institute will not entertain any application after the closing date
  5. Employee’s services is will be governed under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical & Teaching Institutes Reform Act 2018 & subsequent amendments.
  6. Interview calls will be issued to shortlisted candidates only.
  7. In case of wrong or deficient Information provided by candidate s/he will be self-responsible and not fulfilling any criteria will make the candidate out of the process at any stage even after the test.
  8. Any Candidate may also be disqualified or excluded from the process if he/she was (a). Convicted by the court of law. (b). Dismissed from public services. (c). Knowingly furnishes any false information. (d). Suppresses any information which may lead to his / her disqualification. (e). Attempts to obtain support for his candidature by improper means. (I). Submits forged certificates. (g). Tempers with the entries in his/her age and academic certificates. Misbehaves in the Interview.
  9. Character Verification and background check of the selectee will be conducted. In case of an unsatisfactory information/report or criminal record, the selection will stand to cancel/withdrawn immediately. The Scrutiny / Selection Committee shall be competent to reject the applications. in case of incomplete fake credentials, The undersigned reserves the right to cancel or fill any/all vacancies without assigning any reason.
  10. Original documents should be produced at the time of interview
  11. No TA/DA is allowed for Test / Interviews
  12. Age relaxation will be granted as per government rules & regulations. Candidate already in government service shall apply through proper channel.
