Research Officer required in Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar

SITUATION VACANT

Applications are invited for the Post of “Research Officer” on a contractual basis (One Year-Extendable) at Pakistan Institute of Community Ophthalmology (PICO), Hayatabad Medical Complex, Peshawar. The candidate must have domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the following terms & conditions.
Research Officer 1 Male/ Female 21-35 Qualification: • Bachelor of Vision Sciences (BVS) from recognized University / Institute. Experience: • A person holding practical experience of conducting national & international research/projects in government & non-government organizational related to eye care for at least three (03) years.


TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR APPLYING: 1. The candidates shall apply for the post on prescribed proforma available on PICO website oico 2. Candidates must deposit fee of Rs.500/- through the prescribed fee slip available on PICO pico 3. Applications should reach the office of the undersigned by hand before 30′ July 2020 with complete bio-data and academic / experience/domicile certificates along with 02 recent photographs and CNIC photocopy duly attested. The Institute will not entertain any application after the closing date. 4. Employee‘s services will be governed, tinder the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Medical & Teaching Institutes Reform Act 2018 & subsequent amendments. 5. The employment contract may be extended, subject to the performance. Moreover, the institute will be paid the salary equivalent to BPS-17 (Initial Appointment). 6. Interview calls will be issued to shortlisted candidates only. 7. In case of any wrong or deficient Information provided by the candidate s/he will be self-responsible and not fulfilling any criteria will make the candidate out of the process at any stage even after the test. 8. Any candidate may also be disqualified or excluded from the process if he/she was (a). Convicted by the court of law, (b). Dismissed from public services, (c). Knowingly furnishes any false information, (d). Suppresses any information which may lead to his / her disqualification, (e). Attempts to obtain support for his / her candidature by improper means, (f). Submits forged certificates. (g). Tempers with the entries in his / her age and academic certificates, (h). Misbehaves in the Interview. 9. Character verification and background check of the selectee will be conducted. In case of any unsatisfactory information/report or criminal record, the selection will stand to cancel/withdrawn immediately. 10. The Scrutiny / Selection Committee shall be competent to reject the applications, in case of incomplete/fake credentials. 11. The undersigned reserves the right to cancel or fill any/all vacancies without assigning any mason. 12. Original documents should be produced at the time of Interview. 13. No TA/DA is allowed for Test / Interview. 14. Age relaxation will be granted as per government rules & regulations. 15. Candidate already in government service shall apply through proper channel.
