Oil & Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL), Islamabad, a leading Exploration & Production (E&P) Company of the country, invites applications for the position of Executive Director (Exploration).

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR (EXPLORATION)

QUALIFICATION: Master’s or Bachelor’s degree (04 years) in Geology or Geophysics or Geosciences. (Further higher qualification shall be given preference)
EXPERIENCE: 18 years progressively responsible professional post qualification experience inclusive of 07 years of relevant senior management experience in an E&P Company. The candidate should possess experience in the following areas which shall also form his core responsibilities for the position: • Active diversified experience in prospect generation. • Planning seismic acquisition and processing and field geology. • Sound knowledge of Pakistan Basin and Exploration challenges. • E&P experience with national & multinational companies. • A track record of leading successful exploration portfolio and team management. • The ability to implement OGDCL’s key business objectives by defining and monitoring KPIs and TPCs. • Ensure implementation of best E&P practices to achieve the Company’s short term and long term exploration targets/reserve replacement by directing and developing oil & gas projects. • Assure effective exploration of license management. • Proactively explore and introduce innovative methods/approaches to tackle exploration challenges. • Collaborate with the development team to generate and implement field development plans. • Evaluation and identification of new international venture opportunities for OGDCL. • Develop and control exploration budgets, understanding prevailing exploration policies. procedures to support the functional infrastructure. The selected candidate will be offered a 03 years contract employment (extendable by mutual consent) with market-based salary and other benefits commensurate with experience and Company policy. MAXIMUM AGE LIMIT: 55 YEARS
